Bridal Salwar

Bridal Salwars are not as popular as bridal lenghas or bridal sarees. With salwar suit there is less opportunity for embelleshment, due to the simple design of the garment. For example a saree may be cut from different lenghts of fabric, and a lengha may have more genereous cuts of fabric included. A salwar on the other hand is a taylored item, and whilst a salwar can be considered formal attire, it would be more appropriate for a wedding guest than the bride. That said, bridal salwars are available for those who prefer the more slender and elegent profile offered by a salwar, and who are willing to forgoe the heavy embroidery work that is offered by sarees and an lenghas. Bridal salwars are available in a range of colours and styles, and can be quite ornate, though again, in terms of embrodery and embelleshment they will never rival a lengha or saree.
