Salwar Choli

A Choli is a short sleaved bodice or blouse, normally worn with a skirt (lengha). Cholis are very popular both in India and western countries due to their convencience, and the broad range of styles and prices available. Cholis are often styled with a cut out back panel, and a button up front. Bridal cholis have the same structure as any other choli, however, they are more elaborately decorated and may be produced from finer materials such as silk, and may lean more toward a bodice as opposed to a camisole. For parties or other celebrations, semi transparant Kameez may be worth with a choli, as an alternative to a lengha.
